I give Gumbo Media, LLC and Living Cities the right to curate, publish, and distribute my work in collaboration with Living Cities as part of the 2022 A New Foundation Cohort. I affirm that the work submitted is original and 100% my own. If submitting writing, I confirm that this writing has not previously been published, at least in this form. If submitting art or photography, I confirm that this work has not previously been shared in another publication or via another media platform (social media is okay). I agree to the following intellectual property terms: The work created under this agreement, including original storytelling for A New Foundation, are protected by Copyright Law (All Rights Reserved), and will remain the sole and exclusive property of THE ARTIST. The work created may not be reproduced in any manner without THE ARTIST’S explicit permission. Upon receiving full payment of “Fee for Rights Granted,” THE CLIENT (Gumbo Media and Living Cities) will be granted an unlimited copyright license with the following terms: - Duration of usage: Infinite - Limitations on media in which used: None - Limitations on the number of insertions: None - Limitations on geographical use: None This grants THE CLIENT unlimited copyright usage to reproduce, publish or communicate the images and content. THE CLIENT also reserves the first right of use for public consumption. THE ARTIST hereby releases THE CLIENT and its legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said work created. It is agreed THE CLIENT may display and use the work created for advertising, display, website and internet promotion, public display, studio display, television advertising, magazine advertising, and any other purpose thought proper by THE CLIENT.
